Exhibition Label Text: First Aid satchel, 1930s. Carried by a qualified First Aid man to the scene of an addicent. This example was used by William Prentice, a Mines Rescuer, in the 1930s.
Buff coloured canvas satchel with brown leather trim. Closed by 2 inner flaps with green canvas ties & an over flap with leather strap and metal buckle. With a canvas shoulder strap. Inside is lined with hardboard with 2 hardboard partitions.
